i've only coded academically to deal with large data sets in biology, but I haven't designed a program or whatever
if your shit runs 30 seconds slow, and your program is used by a million people, that is *one year* of actual manhours or work or whatever
they are just abject garbage in terms of actually running
one of the things right now is that however novel or accessible the programs that AI can make or contribute to are
than it would take me to actually write shit
AI is not yet good enough to code things than run well, it's a mess
