What does Putin have to do with this? Putin is simply doing his job as the country's leader. Unlike many Western politicians, he's at least reasonable and not crazy, which can't be said about European and recent American leaders. Great powers have spheres of influence, and that must be taken into account. Otherwise, we'll face Armageddon and the end of civilization, which I don't want.
