At my other retail job, i found out there was a position where all you do is find items that people ordered for pickup, and if a customer approached you, you basically tell them to fuck off because you have to fulfill these orders. dream job right there

at one of the retail jobs i hated interacting with customers because they didn't give me proper training so i never knew the answers to customers' questions

my first jobs were fast food, they were awful, but i think they were a good stepping stone for social, because the only interactions required of you are to just take people's orders, so it's like you already have a script to follow
