Yeah Fusion gets a lot of people. It's a bit hard to wrap your mind around the node based editing at first but once you get it it's not too bad. I still prefer layer based compositing though

I've never used power director so I can't compare it to that

but not basic either

I've really been liking Kdenlive. It's open source and free. It's much simpler than the pro editors

Davinci Resolve is freakign awesome but it's pro level so it has soooo many features. It can be overwhelming for sure

that cool man, having fun with the stream is important

but you can still do about anything with it

so it's much simpler to use

That's why I like Kdenlive. It doesn't have near the feature set of the pro editors but has plenty for what I need to do

the software doesn't matter near as much as the person editing

Started out premiere then went to davinci resolve, now I "downgraded" to Kdenlive because I'm on a bit of an open source kick right now
