Many people subscribe to the Theory that the most likely outcome is that we’re all living in a Simulation. If we’re living in a simulation. who’s running it ; and why?

My literal open question since I was a kid when people tried to convince me the Universe has an edge: what lies beyond? Back then, I wasn't aware of the concept of "simulation". Question adapted: how done know they are not in a simulation as well?

Isn’t there a term to explain how we don’t see things until we go to that spot? Like in a video game the whole map isn’t actually generated yet. Only when we walk into that room is it appear visually? They say that is the case with the double slit theory how atoms act differen

Why does light travel at exactly that speed?

it appears to be a mystery. But anyone who has thought deeply about the nature of light knows that light is a deeper essence that simply manifests at that speed.

I’m sitting here wondering if perhaps with the expansion of the universe, perhaps light speed does not stay constant in a very long timeline. Maybe it is constantly changing but we will not be able to detect the change in a thousand or million years of measuring it.

why do we have everything in the universe with a specific number ?
