they just called

6 months

everyone kept saying it would be 2 years before anything happened. and we were napping and she got a call and said get to the hospital in 30 minutes

didn't even have a bag packed. i didn't eat dinner. i was starving. haha

selfish thinking i know

they were like "the kidney will arrive by 11" and it was fricked 7 pm when we got there

told us if they don't come get her from the room by 12 (they had to check it over and make sure they could opperate) that the surgery wouldnt happen. it was 1 am and they finally came and got her. rest was good

normally they said it takes a bit longer.

yeah she feels good

yeah she was on PD dialysis

it was nice because she could do it at night, but it hurt her when it drained which was 5 times a night. and it was really starting to act up and not drain right at the end. so got really lucky

hopefully your transplant is right around the corner

are you feeling okay overall? like does your dialysis make you feel better?
