he’s ready to upscale equipment wise just not manpower wise so now he’s got a hire some guys he went out and bought two new enclosed trailer some dump trucks you know at 5:50 dump trucks
Went out and bought a new bobcat
I know one of his contracts was about 120,000 a year to maintain the landscaping lawn cutting and plowing and that’s a three-year contract

he picked up two of them this year so far that are like that plus all the stuff he had last year he kept almost all of it
shhhh I'm sleeping lol jk morning
he’s always been pretty big with snow plowing he has multiple loaders with snow pusher stuff like that to be able to handle snow plowing but now he wanted to incorporate the lawn cutting and everything into it so he had steady income all year
morning Evan shh I'm sleeping jk how are you
in the fall last year, I built him a salt bin so he could store box salt he stacks up with about 200 to twice a year and went through it all last year he only has about 10 ton left right now
that’s money there
it’s only stupid if it doesn’t work
but it’s good to hear you’re busy dude there’s a lot of people right now that aren’t working and can’t afford anything and just sit there and cry that they’re broke but they’re doing nothing to fix it
now you know what you need to grow on for next year though and next year you’ll hit the winter strong and make a lot of money
but paying somebody to plow for you isn’t lucrative either that kind of killed you
I get it there’s nothing you can do but now you can go into it set up maybe by yourself a used plow or something throw it on your truck for the year so at least you don’t have to pay somebody and then save up some more. Get a nice plow set up for the following year.

you can put a plow on a 1500 that’s how my buddy started out. He had two 1500 with 76 plows on them and ran that for two years like that.
A skid steer with a 10foot four-way plow on it is the way to go for most properties. I’ll be honest with you.
The insurance when you get into salting is astronomical in my area cause that’s when you take the liability of slipping falls is when you say you’re gonna solve the property so being insured for that is a fortune up here
if I can give you one piece of advice, you’ve probably already thought of it, but I went through and did it for my buddy and all of his plow trucks put dash cams on everything so you can say you didn’t do damage or if you did you have footage of it. It saved your ass big time.
